The first thing I found interesting about this chapter was the girl who doesn't feel pain. I think it would be fun not to feel pain but not in this way because she could be hurt and just not know it. This would make life very difficult. I also found the reducer augmenter test to be appealing because it told you how tolerant of pain you are. Personally I don't think it was accurate because it doesn't give a good representation of pain itself. How to you know how much pain you can tolerate without being in pain.
I also found it interesting that Ian Waterman, who contracted a rare disease where his body feels dead was able to walk and eat by focusing on his limbs but then if the lights were to go off he would crumble to the floor.
The last thing that intrigued me was ESP. I think ESP may be slightly real but only to a point the rest is just coincidence or the person believing that they are psychic when they aren't. But it is cool to think that this stuff maybe exists.
